Podiatrist, Kate Brooks and her husband Kyle opened Encompass Podiatry in 2018 with the intention of making expert Podiatry services available to the Boyne Tannum area. As locals themselves, they have seen the importance of being able to access experienced health care providers without the need to travel. Our current team includes Podiatrists Amanda Tilley and Tracey Dieters, who were welcomed in 2019 and 2021 respectively. They bring a wealth of knowledge and diverse background of experience to the team. In reception, you will be greeted by Chloe and Jamie.
Amanda has a thorough knowledge of general, work, and sport-specific footwear and endeavors to keep up to date with the constant changes. She enjoys all aspects of Podiatry but has a special interest in biomechanics, paediatric assessments, running assessments, and sports specific injuries. Amanda is passionate about keeping people of all ages pain-free and mobile and continuing to achieve their personal goals whether they be fitness related or improved daily living. She is a member of the APODC and is a member of the Qld Regional Podiatry Committee.
Amanda is qualified in all aspects of Podiatry, ranging from diabetic and vascular assessments, DVA foot care and medical-grade footwear prescription, general skin and nail care, and ingrown toenail treatment. She has also completed further training in foot mobilisation therapy, neuromuscular dry needling, and gait retraining.
Tracey graduated from QUT with a Bachelor of Podiatry in 2016. After graduation she worked on the outskirts of Brisbane, in Dayboro, Woodford and Kilcoy, before relocating to Gladstone in 2017. Tracey is a member of the Australian Podiatry Association and has experience working in all areas of podiatry including musculoskeletal injuries, orthotic prescription, paediatric (kids) foot problems, diabetic foot assessments and care, general foot care and ingrown nail care.
Tracey is particularly interested in kids foot problems and musculoskeletal injuries. She continues to expand and update her knowledge base; regularly attending National Podiatry conferences, Podiatry webinars and other professional development programs.
Outside of Podiatry, Tracey can be found running around the hockey fields or walking her dog.
